RGD Consulting Engineers was the MEP/Structural Engineer of Record and A&E Project Manager as part of a design-build team for a fast-track, highly-complex Central Energy Plant renovation project. Our team was selected by the Department of Veterans Affairs to furnish all necessary professional design/build services, equipment, labor, materials, supervision, tools, testing, and specialty services (i.e. Industrial Hygienist, Asbestos Abatement, Testing and Balance, etc.) to renovate, replace and upgrade cooling tower equipment at the James A. Haley VA Hospital, located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, Tampa, Florida, 33612.
This project required a variety of trades work congruently at an active healthcare facility. It included design-build services to incorporate into the existing Central Energy Plant & Central Chilled Water Plant.
