The project involves the new construction of a twelve story Residence Inn located in Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida. The 150-room Residence Inn by Marriott is located at 425 Seabreeze Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. The 0.87-acre site is currently a parking lot for the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach.
This project is located along the Intracoastal Waterway, just north of the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
The hotel will total 172,833 square feet in 12 stories. The seven-floor amenity deck would have a pool, a fitness room and meeting rooms. A 185-space parking garage will be constructed to serve both the Residence Inn and the Courtyard. The hotel will have 150 guest rooms and an integrated parking structure for +/-180 cars. The total GSF of the project is 172,833SF, with 116,833SF under air.
RGD Consulting Engineers, RGD’s senior staff is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering and low voltage design for this project.
