The School District of Palm Beach County ’s newest elementary school project, Elementary 05-C, will alleviate the overcrowding at nearby schools resulting from the rise of Boca Raton population. The new school is under construction and planned to open in August 2022, and is now proactively planning the students’ transition.
The art studio, outdoor art patio, and music room will add excitement to the young students, and the modern technology including wall-mounted flat panel screens, brand new Chromebooks and 3d printers will unlock their creativity. The media center with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake will provide for a friendlier inner environment, and the stadium seating in 4th and 5th grade classrooms will reduce that back-of-the-classroom feel.
Additionally, the building’s high-efficiency system enhances indoor air quality, the audio enhancements in the ceiling will allow children to hear teachers clearly, and the new style desks that can easily be reconfigured will allow to create different groupings as needed. RGD has provided structural
