RGD Consulting Engineers provided structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering schematic design for this extensive renovation. The project involves the renovation of the both east and west tower lobby areas to included exterior rework of the building.
RGD Consulting Engineers prepared construction drawings and specifications for the HVAC systems. The plans included a
plan view of the air distribution systems and equipment specifications suitable for obtaining a building permit and modernized all of the equipment to the newest efficiency with energy star ratings. The deliverable included the Energy Code and Cooling Load calculations as appropriate to the building official.
The property totals 637,180 square feet on 4.3 acres and was built in 1985. Phillips Point has 410,000 rentable square feet of office space in two towers and ground floor retail of 40,000, plus two parking garages.
