Opened in Spring of 2014, the NSU Flight Deck Pub is fully equipped with indoor and outdoor bars, a state-of-the-art kitchen, six outdoor cabanas, plush lounge furniture, a multi purpose space, a tranquil plaza and a spirit rock.
Located in the Don Taft University Center, the once leftover space has been transformed into favorite spot for students.
The desire to renovate Flight Deck began back in 2011 and was largely a result of the Pan Student NSU Flight Deck Government Association’s (SGA) desire to create more opportunities for a robust campus life. The SGA not only provided funding for the project, but also played an integral role in selecting the furnishings and menu items.
RGD is pleased to have been able to contribute the MEP & Structural engineering designs for this project. RGD conducted a preliminary site survey of the space, designed the systems and provided administration during the construction phase as needed.
