Hollywood, Florida -- The Seminole Tribe of Florida's Howard Tiger Recreation Center is expected to officially open its doors sometime in October 2014. The 39,000 SF, 2-story recreation facility began construction in December of 2013.
The facility ground floor contains two full size basketball courts, a catering kitchen & buffet service area, and a designated area for the Culture Department; which features a teaching kitchen, classrooms and a multipurpose room. Additionally, the Girls and Boys Club will have designated space on the second floor, in the form of two multipurpose rooms, classrooms, music room, studio and computer room.
A weight and cardio room overlooking the basketball court will also be available.
RGD worked closely with the Architect Leo A Daly and Seminole/Stiles to provide MEP and Structural Engineering for this project.
