Design for the new construction of a new charter school aimed to add an athletic theme to all its basic subjects.
RGD’s designed the structural and MEP engineering systems for the 3-story, 67,515 SF building and gymnasium over a 12,506 SF parking garage.
The school prepares students for careers in sports medicine, business, marketing, health and communications and offers academics in sports medicine, digital television, sports media production, sports marketing, entertainment and management.
The school’s layout includes special lab spaces for students to apply learning including media, television and art centers.
The project was successfully completed before the start of the 2016 school year.
